Rees Atkins

Attorney

Rees grew up as one of six kids in Twin Falls, Idaho. He studied economics at BYU in Provo, Utah, and earned his law degree at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in Phoenix. During law school, he worked with a law firm that specialized in immigration law.

After graduating, he clerked for a state district judge in Twin Falls, Idaho, and has spent time in both the public defender and prosecutor roles, in addition to a wide array of civil practice.

Rees is passionate about researching and writing about legal issues, and uses this to help his clients, listening to what is most important to them.

Having done two years of service in Guatemala, he speaks Spanish fluently. He feels his highest calling in life is to be a good husband and dad. He enjoys wrestling (while his kids are still smaller than him), reading, and learning Chinese phrases with his family.
